Our Story:

Hi, I’m Ashley, the founder of Elderflower & Crumb,, a home bakery based in the D.C. metropolitan area. Baking has always been more than a passion for me—it’s a way to share joy, culture, and community.

As the daughter of Salvadoran parents who immigrated to the U.S. in search of a better life, my family’s journey has been my greatest source of motivation. Their resilience and sacrifices inspire me every day to pursue my dreams and to pour that same love and dedication into everything I create in the kitchen.

While I balance life as a university student and small business owner, I remain deeply committed to giving back. From the very beginning, I’ve donated proceeds from my sales to support immigration relief efforts and continue to advocate for safety and dignity for immigrant communities.

Through my bakery, I hope to celebrate heritage, create meaningful connections, and, of course, share delicious treats made with care.
